One of the best spots I love to hang out in Gion day and night would be on the banks of Kyoto's scenic main waterway - Kamo River. Even at night, it looks peaceful gorgeous, serene, and even romantic. I sat there on the bank after my evening run, had my bento dinner, ran along the river banks, etc.. What a great hangout place!
