Watching SEA Games 2017 athletics sport live in stadium

There's a big difference in watching a sport event live in stadium vs watching live on TV.
I don't quite remember the last time I watched a major sport event or game live in a stadium. I believe it was Piala Malaysia's football match held in Alor Setar Stadium many many years ago when I was still in high school. 😛
I don't have Astro at home to watch Southeast Asian Games 2017 live. And KL Sports City is a twenty-five minute walk from home.
Under such circumstances, how could I resist the temptation not to walk to Bukit Jalil Stadium to experience watching athletic sport live? So that's what I did - walking to watch SEA Games 2017 athletic sport live in Bukit Jalil Stadium two evenings ago.

What an awesome, unforgettable experience!
The communal atmosphere with the sense of unity and togetherness in the spirit of sport.
The grand stadium atmosphere with awesome state-of-the-art sports facilities.
The thunderous cheers from supporters that fill the stadium and beyond.
The witnessing of real flesh and blood of best athletes in South East Asia in action right before my eyes.
The playing of national anthems of Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines, etc that make the supporters proud of their athletes.
The goosebumps on my hands and body when 19 year-old Khairul Hafiz Jantan dethrones Eric Cray to become the sprint king - the fastest man in South East Asia.
The pumped-up feeling after seeing the athletes in action.
The emotional moments when seeing Malaysia's athletes perform well.
The emotion stirred up within watching the events live was simply beyond description!
I left Bukit Jalil Stadium feeling so pumped-up and satisfied.
My tribute and respect to all athletes!! They have put in so much sacrifice and effort striving for the glory and honor of their respective countries!
With few more days left before the closing of SEA Games 2017, I wish all athletes the best!! May the best athletes win!
