• Started a new writing and photography journaling section 影像随笔 (photo journal) on September 22, 2024. It's a combination of travel moments shot on Ricoh GR IIIx, and my thoughts written in Chinese. My aspiration is to travel and take photographs of moments that make me happy in each and every 47 prefecture in Japan and beyond with Ricoh GR IIIx. And I also aspire to write down my thoughts in Chinese to brush up my Chinese writing skills before it gets rustier.
  • Started to shared photos on my Instagram account again on September 9, 2024, after more than a year of social media absence. However, I'm still having social media fatigue despite the 1-year absence. Let's see how it goes. 
  • Bought Ricoh GR IIIx in April 2024, entering into a new phase of photography journey with only one camera one lens.  
  • Sold all of my camera gears in Nov 2023, ending a short 3 years of photography journey (Nov 2020- Nov 2023). Key reason: I am a light traveler. Carrying heavy camera gear, walking about 30,000 steps a day when travel, has become a burden to me after bringing them with me to a few trips. For the moment, I am back to simple travel shots with just my mobile phone. My shots are normal and ugly but they still manage to capture my travel moments for my personal keep. Perhaps until one day I find a very compact minimalist camera that may re-ignite my fire for photography.
  • Bought Sony A6600 APSC camera + Tamron 17-70mm / f 2.8 + Tamron 11-20mm / f2.8 lenses (Nov 2022) and sold Fujifilm X-T200 camera gear.
  • Bought a used telephoto lens Fujinon XF55-200mm to pair with FujifilmX-T200 (March 2022)
  • Bought iPhone 13 and sold iPhone 8 (January 2022)
  • Bought a used ultra-wide lens Fujinon XF10-24mm f4.0 to pair with Fujifilm X-T200 (March 2021)
  • Became one of the OPPOgraphers under OPPO Malaysia's OPPOgrapher program using the latest OPPO smart phone models to take photos (August 2021 - February 2022)
  • Bought an APSC mirrorless camera Fujifilm X-T200 with XC15-45mm kit lens (November 2020)
  • Created Instagram account @vincentkhor7  (March 2018)
  • Bought iPhone 8 to take travel photos in Japan and running photos at Tokyo Marathon (February 2018)
