Mount Aso or Aso Volcano is the second largest active volcano in Japan after Mount Fuji, and among the largest in the world. I hiked along the hiking trails from Aso Sanjo Terminal at the top, all the way to the Aso Grasslands. Presented before my eyes were some of the most breathtaking scenes of Aso crater and the lush greenery.
