Takachiho Shrine, located in the small town of Takachiho in Miyazaki, is a charming small Shinto shrine. It's also not far from the famous Takachiho Gorge. Hidden at a small hilltop surrounded by giant trees, I found the small shrine to be serene and beautiful.
