Even though I'm a Malaysian, admittedly I have only been up to the KL Tower only twice. 😊 My most recent KL tower experience was just a couple days ago. I'm glad that I brought along GoPro HERO5 Black action camera to capture breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur skyline 282 meters above the ground. 
KL Tower from ground up - 421 meters in height!
Standing at 421 meters and located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, KL Tower is the seventh tallest telecommunication tower in the world and the tallest in Southeast Asia. 

Even though KL Tower was originally constructed to improve the quality of telecommunication and broadcasting transmission in Malaysia, KL Tower or Menara KL has become a significant landmark and symbol identifying Malaysia as a nation coming of age.

There are four places where you can have awesome KL tower experience with breathtaking views of of Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia.
  1. Sky Deck
    • KL skyline view at 300 meters above ground level offering stunning and thrilling view of metropolitan city of Kuala Lumpur
  2. Sky Box
    • The latest thrilling experience at KL Tower at 300 meters up in the sky. It's an extension from the Sky Deck ledge. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur while posing any pose in the Sky Box. You can enjoy a very unique and unobstructed view of the city from the top of KL Tower
  3. Atmosphere 360 Revolving Restaurant

For the pictures below, I took them from Atmosphere 360 revolving restaurant, 282 meters above ground level. I used GoPro HERO5 Black action camera (except the last night view picture with Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smart phone) for the wide-angled, panoramic view of beautiful Kuala Lumpur skyline. 

It is good if you can visit KL Tower at different times of the day, so that you can see the day view, sunset view as well as night view of the capital of Malaysia high up in the sky.

I moved around to take photo of KL skyline from another angle. Do you see Ambank?
Well, you might not see KL Twin Tower from this angle but you can see Menara Maybank on top right corner, once an iconic tall building in KL years ago.
A selfie is a must! lol!

Nice view at night. I believe Sky Deck is a better place to take such photos. This one is with the window reflection. 

Explore KL Tower

If you have not visited KL Tower, please make it a must-visit item on your travel itinerary. Besides having thrilling tower experience at Sky Deck, Sky Box and Observation Deck, do dine at Atmosphere 360 revolving restaurant for an international buffet dinner. 

Meanwhile, please don't forget that KL Tower is actually located right in the middle of Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve. Hence, you can take a walk through a tropical rain forest and experience a variety of flora and fauna only found in Malaysia.
