I used to wonder who would sing at karaoke until the next morning? Apparently, many people, especially in Japan. most Karaoke operate 24 hours, catering to those who miss their last train home. Taking a taxi can be rather expensive. Hence, karaoke serves as a place to rest, eat, sleep, and refresh as well for the next morning.
