It's common that Japanese men place a small owner on their heads in hot springs or public baths to follow etiquette, as it's considered unhygienic to dip the towel in the water. However, I have also seen Japanese men having head towel wraps at restaurants, or eateries for hygiene purposes. However, to see a man walking on the street with the head towel wrap was quite an interesting sight that I didn't want to miss out capturing with my camera.
