I went to run my full marathon no. 37 in Kobe (Kobe Marathon 2024). My Japanese god brother recommended that I run because he said it's very popular amongst Japanese runners. When I went for recce of the starting point on pre-race day, I saw amazing sunlight shining on the male mobile toilets prepared for Kobe Marathon. I also saw a monument stating "KOBE is the birth place of Marathon in Japan." And main streets also had the Kobe Marathon buntings up on some lamp posts. I totally enjoyed my race and the whole running atmosphere.
