SHIRAKAWA RIVER FLOWING THROUGH GION, KYOTO

The Shirakawa River flows through the heart of Gion, Kyoto, offering a scenic view. Along both sides of the river there are walking / jogging tracks. It was a joy to run along the river when I was there.
