Otsu City...somehow I love this city. No big shrines like Kyoto. No busy shopping streets like Osaka. Just a small city by the lake. A day trip was not enough for me a couple years back. During my 2nd trip now, I stayed a few nights. A view of this charming city from a bridge. I was in fact walking across the bridge to AEON Mall.
