It was -10 degrees. It was windy. The cold wind felt like a knife cutting through my face. Hiking trails were closed. Even the cable car up to the top was not operating. I was stranded in a sense. I was glad the outdoor and indoor onsen baths at the resort hotel worked well. That was the warmth I longed for in such cold weather.
