If you want to experience a totally different dining experience in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, I must say Atmosphere 360, a revolving restaurant 282 metres up in the sky, is highly recommendable!

Located at Kuala Lumpur Tower (Menara Kuala Lumpur), the tallest tower in Southeast Asia and seventh tallest tower in the world, Atmosphere 360 offers quite a wonderful spread of modern authentic Malaysian and international food.

The restaurant is furnished in a spaceship-like atmosphere with its magnificent view and starry fiber optic ceiling lights that offers a truly unforgettable and luxurious culinary experience.

It has a seating capacity of 250 persons.

Food & beverages

Due to its uniqueness, there is a time limit to each dining session. For example, 1.5 hour session for lunch buffet, 2 hour session for afternoon tea, hi tea and dinner.

11.30am - 01.00pm: Lunch buffet (RM97.10 nett; age 5-12 RM74.95 nett)

01.30pm - 03.00pm: Lunch buffet (RM97.10 nett; age 5-12 RM74.95 nett)

03.30pm - 05.30pm: Afternoon tea (RM63.95 nett; age 5-12 RM52.95 nett)

03.30pm - 05.30pm: Hi tea (RM74.95 nett; age 5-12 RM53.00 nett)

06.30pm - 08.30pm: Dinner buffet (RM218.30 nett; age 5-12 RM152.15 nett)

09.00pm - 11.00pm: Dinner buffet (RM218.30 nett; age 5-12 RM152.15 nett)

Note: Afternoon tea is available on Mon-Fri; Hi tea on Sat/Sun/Public Holidays

For Lunch buffet, Atmosphere 360 offers a glorious buffet spread showcasing modern authentic Malaysian and International cuisine.

For Afternoon Tea buffet, you can indulge in an assortment of dainty finger confectioneries, exquisitely prepared Kuih Melayu, pastries, sandwiches, sweeten porridge and delicacies served alongside with coffees, teas and soft drinks.

In addition to what's served for Afternoon Tea buffet on weekday, the Hi Tea buffet on Saturdays / Sundays and public holidays is complemented by a variety of delicious dishes ranging from salads, Mee Goreng, confectioneries to savoury snack foods.

Enjoy an unlimited lavish authentic Malaysian and International cuisine at Dinner buffet that is complemented by a variety of delicious main dishes ranging from Rendang Tok, Sirt Fired Chili Crab, Stir Fried Venison Fillet with black pepper sauce to assorted Dim Sum. A sumptuous choice of desserts completes the feast while listening to wonderful live entertainment.

I personally think that lunch buffet, afternoon tea and hi tea prices are considered reasonable with such a unique experience at 282 meters above the ground level. But I think that the dinner buffet is rather expensive. However, the ambiance, the atmosphere, the breathtaking KL skyline view would have made up for it. 😉

Personal experience

You can experience magnificent breathtaking view of KL skyline at different times of the day and night. This means that you can opt to have lunch, afternoon tea or dinner buffet there at Atmosphere 360, whichever time suits you.

But in my humble opinion, the best session is 06.30pm-08.30pm dinner buffet. Personally, I have had the opportunity to indulge in dinner buffet for the 06.30pm-08.30pm session twice at Atmosphere 360.

Why the 06.30pm-08.30pm dinner buffet session?

That's the time when the sun is about to set.

It also means that you will get to experience the natural transition from day to night as the restaurant transforms into an elegant dining area for 250 people.

By the way, you might think that two-hour session is too short for you to indulge in all the delicious food. Hold your thoughts first! This is because during my last dining experience with ten other people, four of them who were sitting close to the window area with breathtaking views of KL skyline were having motion sickness after 1.5 hour. Those sitting at the inner side were feeling a bit dizzy as well but not as bad. ha! ha!
